Purpose of Establishment

YRP Ubiquitous Networking Laboratory (YRP UNL) was established with the aim of achieving a ubiquitous computing environment that supports our lives in a sophisticated manner by embedding microcomputers with communication capabilities, sensors, actuators, etc. in all physical objects around us and having them operate in a concerted manner by exchanging information with each other. Establishing next-generation protocols for the communication as the infrastructure of ubiquitous computing is another major goal of YRP UNL.
